Our history
ESA borns and develops in Northern Italy, one of European’s more active manufacturing hub. Targeting to accompany italy’s grid expansion, ESA became immediately the main reference for several furnace manufacturers operating in several and diversified industries.
1977
Incorporated as spin-off of combustion department of today’s Parent company SIADMI, ESA becomes immediately distributor of Pyronics Inc. Cleveland, Ohio.
The ’80s
ESA moves to its current headquarters in Curno, near Bergamo. The development of know-how in the steel and ceramic markets continues. begins the development of its own combustion electronics products.
The ’90s
ISO 9001 Qualification. The first worldwide success is the invention of the electronic flame control “ ESTRO”. The cooperation with huge Steel and Aluminium OEM pushes to internalize the refractory department.
’00s
To the acquisition of Pyronics International S.A., in Belgium, follows the inauguration of biggest European R&D Center on combustion and the internalization of software & automation dep.
Other acquisitions relates to the I.P for copper pre-mix burners and ribbon linear burners.
The ’10s
In 2014 ESA India is founded in Pune, with manufacturing facilities. The company obtains ISO9001 certification, PED certification and moves to its 2500sqm current location in 2018.
In Italy, the welding department is now also integrated into new premises.
The ’20s
New patents for self-recuperatives and Plug in recuperators (PIR). ESA takes over other neighboring factories and offices for a total of 7,000 m2 covered, 1,000 m2 of offices and 6,000 m2 of outdoor areas. ESA Germany and ESA China are born. Launch of the patent for double solenoid valves, Checkmate technology and the new Burner safety system “Alben”.
